The Distance Education Advisory Group (DEAG) was formed in fall semester of 2017 to provide input into distance and online educational systems at USC Upstate.
The committee is comprised of representatives from the following groups:
Faculty (9 members from all four schools and colleges and the Library)
Staff (including the directors of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, Learning Technologies, Student Success Center, and Distance Education)
Students (from programs with online delivery and courses) and
Community (members include K-12 technology coordinators and leaders in business and community organizations with an interest in adult, online populations)
